Other suggestions for help:

• Mentor a child at your local elementary.

• Lobby law makers to include children as their number one priority.

• Volunteer through churches, scouts, schools, and organizations which serve children.

• Write film and television companies about inappropriate programming during prime "children viewing" times.

• Be the best parent you can with your own children.  Teach your children to have compassion for others.

• Encourage other adults to get involved in children's issues.
