Baby Peaches Inc. Launches in Atlanta to Provide Help for Low-Income Providers

March 21, 2003 -- A new opportunity is coming to Atlanta to help low-income parents/providers with the launch of Baby Peaches, Inc.  Through a partnership with the Grady Health System in Atlanta, Baby Peaches is assisting new families by providing baby care, safety and educational products.  The products, compile in a Peach Baby Bag, include a first-year baby care book, electric outlet covers, thermometer, washcloths, diapers, toys and much more.

"Our main purpose is to help new families celebrate new life," said Sanchia Patrick, president of Baby Peaches.  "We are thrilled about launching this program in Atlanta and hope to make a positive impact throughout the year."

The first official Baby Peaches presentation to Grady Health System was on December 11, 2002.  During the presentation, Baby Peaches presented bags with baby products to assist five mothers who were HIV/AIDS positive.

In addition to making a donation for a Peach Baby Bag, Baby Peaches has developed a membership base to help fund the baby products.  For $10, members of the local community can become a 2003 Baby Peaches member receiving an annual newsletter on the organization's progress.
